The Peter Pan Fan Club

Inspired by a term-paper I wrote my final year in college, The Peter Pan Fan Club is a blog/website I started with a friend. We formed the site in an effort to channel our youthful energies into a productive project. At the Peter Pan Fan Club we write articles and initiate discussions on any and all topics as long as they involve keeping a youthful outlook on life.

Like my other websites, this one is run using WordPress content management software, giving me the flexibility of a full-fledged CMS plus the benefits of a blog. In addition to managing this site, I also write and manage an email newsletter which sends members regular updates on the site as well as additional content not found anywhere else.

Our about page has more on the formation of the Peter Pan Fan Club.

The Marriage Proposal Guide

The Ultimate Marriage Proposal Guide is a 65 page ebook that walks the reader through all the important steps necessary to executing a memorable marriage proposal.

I developed this product from start to finish, creating everything from the content itself to the graphics on the digital cover. The sales page, which can be found at www.marriageproposalguide.com, and the email newsletter were also written entirely by me. The website structure was modified from a theme I had previously purchased.

An understanding of the complete range of internet marketing practices was important in creating a successful information product for sale online. When building the marketing plan for this guide I had to devise a sales funnel that would drive traffic to a squeeze page. There I would be able to collect leads by offering a free guide in exchange for a visitor signing up for my newsletter.

This free guide, The Pre-Proposal Guide is a preliminary report, designed to help a man (or woman) determine if their girlfriend was the right one for them.

Once I have an email address, a series of informative articles are sent out via email newsletter autoresponders. Again, nothing was outsourced in the process of creating this product and sales funnel.

SiteRoast.com

Currently sitting in semi-retired status, SiteRoast is a place to find useful, unique and under-the-radar websites. These sites are then reviewed and discussed on the SiteRoast Blog. I researched for and wrote all the content on this site, as well as designed all logos and graphics.

Also available for download on SiteRoast.com is a free ebook that I wrote called Build an Online Forum in 9 Easy Steps, which details exactly how anyone can set up an online forum in less than one hour. This ebook is 51 pages of detailed instructions that will give a novice computer user the confidence to start their own forum.

Although little has been changed on the site in nearly a year, I do have plans to rejuvenate SiteRoast, so keep on the lookout for new content soon.

Marketing Niche Websites

One of the first internet marketing projects I tried out was researching various niches that had high-paying keywords in CPC advertising services such as Google Adsense. Once I found a niche that I wanted to go into, I would research those keywords, then research the topic and write anywhere from 5-15 pages of content using those keywords.

After I developed content for my website, I used article marketing to help improve my search engine rankings and drive traffic. Anytime a visitor comes to my site and clicks on one of the ads hosted there, I make money. These sites have turned out to be decent sources of residual income as they still earn money despite my not having to do much to maintain them.
